We’re all familiar with the expression: “When the going gets tough the tough get going”. When addressing the subject of breakthrough success what often makes the difference is having a purpose.
In the pursuit of financial freedom it is essential to have knowledge of the core
principles of wealth accumulation. This will provide one with the basics to move
toward a goal of financial freedom. However, in order to be truly successful and
achieve the freedom day goal it usually can’t only be about the money. A ‘get
rich quick’ scheme is usually only about the money.
In the life of any truly worthwhile enterprise comes the question of
sustainability. For tough times surely will come. And in the face of tough times
sustainability is key.
Fear not, ‘with a Purpose, you will Prevail’. Without a purpose when the going gets tough one quits.
Ultimately purpose is about doing something you like. And providing something of value to the world.
Now, what distinguishes a purpose from a pipe dream? There’s no way you are not going to get in action if you have a compelling purpose. It is important to have a purpose in order to sustain the drive and burning desire to move beyond the restriction of negative patterns–the conditioning of our
lifetime.
Purpose has meaning and it is I– an individual–who determines the meaning of a
purpose–usually with a view to impact or affect the lives of others. A pipe
dream is more of a fantasy. It conjures up images of someone ‘conjuring up
images” for the sake only of conjuring up images! There is a quality of fantasy,
as well as doing nothing–idly capturing a fleeting image before tossing it back
into a vast image-field. There is no action here.
If I have a purpose beyond my profound revelation then I have to get up off my
backside and do something about it. There are lots of action items that can be
created out of purpose.
Purpose often involves other people in terms of collaborating, co-operating, serving others. The pipe dream is a dream of the ego — sometimes related to how others serve me.
There has to be a need, a void to be filled. What do people want? How can I fill that void, provide for that need.
In pursuit of your financial freedom, What is Your Purpose?
